Biography

Marilyn Cocozza is the owner/operator of the Marilyn Cocozza Trillo Vocal Performance Studio located in Warwick, Rhode Island.

Marilyn's vocal ability was initially showcased with her service as Rhode Island's Junior Miss and as Miss Rhode Island.  A Talent Award Winner at the Miss America Scholarship Program, Marilyn was crowned 3rd Runner Up to Miss America, and utilized her scholarship to pursue a degree in music from Anna Maria College in Massachusetts.  She has taught voice to hundreds of students in a number of venues - theatre school, singing camps, private instruction, the Community College of Rhode Island., and at Roger Williams University. 

She is the Creative Director of the public access television programs "Trillo Talks" and "Issues and Ideas."  She is a member of America's Junior Miss Council, the Rhode Island Commission on Women, and is the sponsor of scholarships for the Miss Rhode Island Program and Rhode Island Junior Miss.
